Cameraz was established as a photographic retailer in 1979 and was originally based in the Clarence Arcade. After several successful years at their new shop on Stamford Street, it continues to be a family run business and Ashton's only independant photographic retailer.

The shop has a range of compact cameras, S.L.R.s, accessories and due to demand, digital cameras and digital accessories. There is also a large choice of Binoculars available along with Monoculars, magnifying glasses and optical accessories of various types. Astronomers are catered for with a range of telescopes both astronomical and terrestrial and spotting scopes! In addition to Darkroom supplies, slideviewers and projectors the shop also offers a 24hr Developing & Printing service !
