of Ashton in the 50's, and on more recent return visits it still felt
like home. I was delighted to see that my old stomping grounds - Medlock
Vale, Daisy Nook and the old Canal, are still virtually as they were,
now preserved as National Trust lands. Our home now is the beautiful forest clad mountainous island of Dominica, in the English speaking East Caribbean. A great place to visit if you like hiking, bird or whale watching, snorkelling and diving. http://www.natureisland.com |

Having lived in Warwickshire for 6 years (beautiful part of the country), nice to be near local amenities and the dry humour(first thing i noticed since moving back)of northern folk.
